So sad ..... Canucks loss.
I went to the fan zone again on game 7. Walked along Georgia Street, crowd already packed at Richards Street. Squeezed through the crowd and took this photo at Homer Street where two guys were sitting on the traffic lights. Time: 6:04pm
First warning, no security check and no fence off. Crossed Homer Street and continued to squeeze through the crowd but stuck just after few steps. Went to the far left and passed half way in front of Canada Post building. Stuck again, went backward and took a detour to Homer Street, Dunsmuir Street and entered the fan zone from Hamilton Street. Second warning, no security check and no fence off too, except fence on the east side. Tried to squeeze into the crowd again but I couldn't get near the big screen. So, had to back off and stood outside the fence area. These guys climbed up to the roof of the side entrance of Canada Post for better view of the big screen. Time: 6:17pm
The place I stood was at the side and behind the big screen. All people stood behind the fence can not see the big screen. But some of us looked at the reflection on the windows of the building across the street. It's better than seeing nothing at all. Time: 6:45pm

The blue man climbed up to the traffic light post. Time: 7:08pm
Some fans start to leave the area before the game ends and few guys from the crowd start to throw battles to the big screen(see red circle on the top left corner). Third warning, one glass bottle landed few feet away on my left and a piece of broken glass hit my shoe. Luckily the force was mild because of my distance between the big screen. Time: 7:46pm
Forth warning, detected the first smoke in front of Canada Post building. Time: 7:47pm
This Canucks fan was so sad and emotional. Cried with tears on eyes. All shutter bugs rushed to took this sensation moment. Time: 7:49pm
Fifth warning, detected the second smoke at the same spot. Time: 7:51pm
Another man comforted him and he still couldn't hold the tears in his eyes. Time: 7:52pm
Later, he talked to me briefly and I put my hand on his shoulder for the support. He must be one of the die heart Canucks fans. I guess he was praying that Canucks will win next year. Time: 7:53pm
He's still sad and disappointed.
Time to leave before it's too late, because I sensed the riot could be happen in any second. And I was right. When I was few blocks away from the fan zone at Cambie @ Pender, looking back and saw black smoke in the sky. At least 3 helicopters were surrounding the area. Time: 8:01pm
